ABOUT THE EVENT:The StrongHER® Initiative is thrilled to present its signature Brunch N’ Punch® Event with Self-defesne partners, Krav Oz This is the intersection of mental health and physical training, and is a unique opportunity for women to connect and train together! We’ll nosh on great food and sip coffee as we engage in a guided discussion around topics pertaining to women. We’ll also incorporate our self-defense training in a fun and engaging way as it links to our discussion that promises to leave you feeling strong and capable! Plus, you’ll get a nice light workout as you train various techniques and learn about various self-defense scenarios and principles.

Participants will participate in elements of the StrongHER® Initiatives and Krav Oz’s widely acclaimed women's self-defense program endorsed by several area universities, including Georgetown and American University, where Owner and Lead Instructor Chantell regularly teaches the principles of self-defense and self-protection-to students, faculty, and staff. Come prepared to learn and ready to have a great time training with other women in this safe and welcoming environment.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:Chantell Prestcott-Hollander founded StrongHER®, an organization committed to helping connect and strengthen women through therapy, coaching, education, and self-defense. Chantell is a Trauma Informed Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Fit to Fight® Black Belt Krav Maga/Defensive Options Instructor, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt, Yoga Instructor, and Certified Personal Trainer at Krav Oz, where she and her husband operate a self-defense and fitness center. Chantell uses her counseling background to inform best practices and research when discussing the emotional and psychological responses in a self-defense scenario and to help participants understand the predatory mindset. She is passionate about helping women uncover their own strength from the inside out through self-defense and fitness.

The Founder of The StrongHER® Initiative is a licensed mental health therapist, a Fit to Fight® Black Belt Defensive Options Instructor, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt, Yoga Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer at Krav OzChantell Prestcott-Hollander uses her unique background in both mental health and fighting to help women uncover strength inside and out through carefully planned events that will allow women to connect with others and uncover their fighting spirit both physically and mentally. Chantell's unique background also serves also to inform best practices and research when discussing the emotional and psychological responses in a self-defense scenario and to help participants understand the predatory mindset.
