Many of you mentioned the water was too calm and were interested in Rapid IV Whitewater Rafting. So here you are, and we are going to Hudson River for Rapid IV WR.

A whitewater rafting trip through the Hudson River Gorge means western-style whitewater adventure right here in the central Adirondacks of New York! The Hudson River Gorge is rated one of the Top 10 whitewater rafting runs in America. And no wonder! This is the Hudson River as she was meant to be ... crystal clear, clean, alive and powerful, as her unbridled whitewater thunders alongside 500-foot granite cliffs, and through awesome rapids like Givneys' Rift, the Narrows, Little Nasty and Greyhound Bus Stopper. A DIRONDACK EXTREME ADVENTURE COURSE

Other parks have tried to imitate but can’t duplicate the HEART PUMPING,ADRENALINE RUSH of Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course, the United States’ largest AERIAL tree top adventure park.Open April through November and located in beautiful Bolton Landing, NY just north of Lake George and Diamond Point, Adirondack Extreme boasts over 1.5 miles of thrilling aerial adventures including wobbly bridges, climbing walls, zip lines and swinging surprises at varying levels of height and difficulty. LODGING

We will be staying in a big lodge near whitewater rafting, 5 bedrooms, 10 beds (2 king beds, 2 queen beds, 2 double beds, 4 single beds), 2.5 baths, a dedicated workspace, a fully stocked kitchen, & a living room. We will max out at 14 people. The house is 9 minutes drive to Whitewater Challengers (North River), and 25 mins to Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course.

Essential Provided: Towels, bed sheets, shampoo, soap and toilet paper

DEPARTURE/RETURN SCHEDULE

Depart Date: Jun 28th, 2024 Friday. Please arrive 15 minutes earlier. Van will depart sharply on time with or without you.

Depart 4:00 PM from Queens: (Across street from Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel) 135-20 39th Ave, Flushing, NY 11354 (Map). Subway lines (Main St-Flushing): 7.

Depart 5:00 PM from NYC: (ViVi Bubble Tea) Corner of 43rd St and 9th Ave New York, NY 10036 (Map) Subway lines (Times Sq-42 St): A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q, R, S.

Depart 6:00 PM from NJ: (NJ Transit Ramsey Route 17) 1 Spring St, Ramsey, NJ 07446 (Map) $4 to $5 daily parking at the station's park lot. Meet at the big open space facing the garage entrance.

Return Date/Time: Depart on Sunday Jun 30th around 4:00 PM and expect to arrive at NJ at 8:00 PM, NYC at 8:45 PM & Queens at 9:30 PM

6/28 Friday:

• Heading to the house, have fast food dinner on the way up. Before arriving at the house, grocery shopping for breakfasts & drinks.

6/29 Saturday:

• Depart at 8:30 AM for IV rapiding whitewater rafting at Whitewater Challengers Hudson River (Whitewater rafting starts 9 AM & we want to arrive a bit earlier to get ready)

• Who Should Come: Prior experience on III rapid recommended; not required.

• What To Bring: Water bottle, hat, towel, sunblock scream and clothes to change.

6/30 Sunday:

• Depart 8:30 AM for Adirondack extreme Adventure Course, and expect to arrive at 9:00 AM;

• Afterward, lunch at Lake George and hang out at Lake George for 2 hours. Depart from Lake George at 4:30 PM & head back at NYC

COST (LODGING & TRANSPORTATION)

Early Birds: $339 per person for first 7 spots or before 6/7 whichever comes first. Regular: $379 per person afterward. $30 additional for upgrading from a shared Queen/Double bed to a single bed.

Cost Included in the Trip:

• Saturday Rapid IV Whitewater rafting; All rafting equipments & wetsuit included; FREE light lunch snack.

• Two nights stay at a big vacation house; everyone will either share a queen/full bed or take a twin bed with $30 upgrade.

• Admission ticket to 3 hours Adult Course at Adirondack extreme Adventure Course; Optionally add $5 to upgrade to Adult Extreme Course

• Round trip transportation & daily transport between the house & event locations. $10 tips for the van driver is required & will be collected on the returning trip.

Cost Not Included in the Trip:

• Meals outside of rafting trip, snacks & drinks

• Gratitude for the trip leader/driver

* Full refund minus $50 processing fee if cancelled 21 days in advance

* 50% refund if cancelled 10 days in advance

* No refund for cancellation or no show within 10 days; however, spots can be transferred to your friends with $30 processing fee.
