  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

    We'll be walking around Jewell Wetlands and going over the basics of birding and discussing the history of the park. Binoculars not supplied, bring your own if possible.

    Meet at the Duck Pond Parking Lot on Jewell Ave.

    Please wear closed toed shoes for walking outdoors and on trails, appropriate layers for the weather, and bring water. This hike will be approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and approximately 1 mile. The hike will be beginner in difficulty, and we plan to stop frequently.

    The content for this hike is written for adults, but children 13 and older are welcome to join.
