Ghost Moths stumbles out of the pine forests of Statesboro blending modern blues-rock with Appalachia storytelling to create southern gothic blues.

Ghost Moths began with Preston Pound and Kade Bell combining years of experience in other genres for a dynamic driven sound. Cutting their teeth on stages across Savannah, Statesboro and Auburn, they released The Swamp Witch EP as a one take, live performance in a barn with three microphones made from shotgun shells. In 2017, Marisa Williams rounded out drum duties following Kade's departure to pursue his PhD in Michigan. Following a move to Atlanta in 2018, Ghost Moths strives to continue creating engaging stories through music and keeping audiences entertained with their unique brand of humor and charm.

Providence, Rhode Island may not be the first city one thinks of when pondering where a country singer got their start, but Charlie Marie is here to prove that “everywhere has a country side.”

Charlie Marie, like so many great songwriters, was first introduced to music by her grandmother. At ten years old, she was already hooked on Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. Her admiration for their craft and delivery had only multiplied since and shines through in her collection of songs. It is evident, in Charlie Marie’s sultry and dynamic vocal range, that she takes just as much from the greats as she does contemporary modern troubadours.

Sure, she may have cut her song-writing teeth in Nashville, but, it wasn’t until Charlie moved back home to Rhode Island and away from the neon glow of Music Row, that she truly found her unique and defining sound. The sound that can both ignite the honky-tonk flame and silence the rowdiest of professional drinking crowds.

Charlie Marie writes songs that evoke feelings of hope and positivity through the trenches of the toughest heartaches, evoking the true sense of country and western music. Just like ‘Ol Waylon said, “Country music isn’t a guitar, isn’t a banjo, isn’t a melody, it isn’t a lyric. It’s a feeling.”
