Détentrice d’une maitrise en sciences de l’environnement et développement durable, elle s’inspire de la nature pour repenser les pratiques d’affaires. Elle est Présidente & Cofondatrice de LOOP Mission, en plus de siéger sur le Conseil d’administration de RECYC-QUÉBEC.

Julie Poitras-Saulnier's life mission is clear and compelling: to reduce the environmental impact of our food systems. After supporting numerous companies in adopting sustainable practices, Julie became acutely aware that the efforts were often insufficient. This realization fueled her decision to co-found LOOP Mission, a circular economy company devoted to minimizing food waste by repurposing produce rejected by the industry.
As a dedicated entrepreneur with a bachelor's degree in communication, a master's degree in environmental sciences & sustainability, and over 15 years of experience in sustainable food, Julie brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Now serving as the CEO of LOOP Mission, she stands out as one of the most committed and purpose-driven entrepreneurs in the food industry.
