Chicago Human Rhythm Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that empowers artists and communities to express culture and identity through rhythm and percussive arts. Through the production of inspiring performances, education programs, and innovative business models for artistic collaboration, CHRP catalyzes diverse communities to foster social reconciliation and economic sustainability through rhythm.Mayfair Arts Center-Shared Dance/Arts SpaceThe MAC serves more independent artists, more small to medium-sized dance companies and more children, teens, adults and elders - through classes, performances and business development services. The MAC honors the 63+ year legacy of Tommy and Peggy Sutton's Mayfair Academy - a true South Side institution.

<h3>Supporting the acquisition, repair and operation of the MAYFAIR ARTS CENTER (MAC)</h3> To purchase tickets, please click the orange "Get Tickets" button. Gala ticket holders DO NOT need to purchase After Jam tickets.An improvisational session led by our Rhythm World 34 faculty, invited professional tap dancers and the Eric Hochberg Trio. You will witness the true preservers here at this session, the groundbreakers and torch bearers of this dance. Returning to Rhythm World, young lioness Naomi Funaki, leader of the new school Karissa Royster, master teacher Sarah Savelli, immortal genius Cartier Williams, legendary tap dancer Derick K. Grant and other special guests. We are grateful you chose your evening with us! To celebrate over 3 decades of bringing percussive dance to Chicago. Thank you so much for joining the Chicago Human Rhythm Project in the prestigious Jazz Showcase. As we continue to honor the relationship between tap dance and jazz music. <h3>JUBALEE 2024 has been reimagined to provide our devoted patrons with a variety of unique and unforgettable experiences up close and behind the scenes!</h3> This year's event will support the acquisition, repair and operation of the Mayfair Arts Center(MAC). The MAC's recent "re-opening" heralded the revitalization of a South Side institution as a new center for arts education, performance and community development. To support this expansion of our services in Calumet Heights and surrounding neighborhoods, CHRP launched RAISE THE ROOF - a $1.7 mil comprehensive campaign to support the Phase I acquisition, repair and operation of the MAC. In addition to the gala, naming opportunities are available for the Mayfair Arts Center.To purchase tickets, please click the orange "Get Tickets" button.
