Yes: new players have to register and try out. Returning players from Fall 2024 must register and check-in at tryouts, but do not need to try out.

Players are expected to have some tennis experience. Basic skills expected include a reasonable serve from the baseline and the ability to rally with a partner.

Teams are selected to have a balanced skill level between all teams. Several factors are taken into consideration, including skill level, practice time availability, and sibling registrants.

How do I get my discount?

Mountain View residents must confirm their residency with the MVT front desk to receive their 5% discount - it will be automatically applied at checkout. The MVT student discount is awarded as an account credit towards Spring-2 registration.

What if I can't make my assigned match/practice times?

Accepted Answer

Regular attendance at practices and matches is expected for all players. If you cannot make match or practice times, we recommend joining us in a future season instead.
