How does Joyful Spirit work?

Participants are guided into a light meditative state at the beginning of the session (about 3 minutes) and are advised to tune into their body. Once the music starts, participants are encouraged to move as their body directs them to move (swaying, walking, dancing, tapping feet, etc.).

How does Joyful Spirit benefit me?

First, it gets you up and moving for an hour. Second, it helps improve the body/mind connection so you're more aware of your body. Third, the music provides sound healing and since familiar songs are used, it improves mood.

What is the best way to get the most out of a session?

You can receive benefits just by attending. The maximum benefits come from participating with eyes closed or covered to keep the mind/body connection in the forefront.
