<h2>Welcome to JOY RIDES: Germantown!</h2>Get ready for an experience with the inaugural JOY RIDES: Germantown! A tour conceived by Temple Contemporary gallery and co-created by the Tyler School of Art and Architecture's Alumni Association, we aim to take you on a journey to Greater Philadelphia's hidden gems in art and culture.

Joy Ride: Germantown ExplorationJoin Temple Contemporary and the Tyler Alumni Association for a guided bus tour exploring Germantown's vibrant arts and culture scene. This collaborative event strengthens connections between Tyler students, alumni, and Philadelphia's creative community through shared cultural experiences.Our "Hidden Gems &amp; Unexpected Spaces" tour will visit:<ul><li>Ubuntu Gallery</li><li>The Colored Girls Museum</li><li>City Art Salon</li><li>Notable murals throughout Germantown</li></ul>The experience includes expert facilitators providing context and insights, student documentation capturing the day, and a post-tour reception featuring food, drinks, and conversation with local artists in a salon-style setting.Whether you're a recent graduate, seasoned alum, or current student, Joy Ride offers a chance to discover lesser-known cultural spaces, connect with the Tyler community beyond campus, and engage with Philadelphia's dynamic artistic landscape.Date: April 11, 2026 Cost: Free or low-cost (accessibility is our priority) Registration requiredSupported by the Temple University Alumni Association.
