The Division of Digital Learning is responsible for leveraging the latest educational technologies in support of UCF’s academic mission, with a particular emphasis on exploring innovative ways to positively impact student access, the cost of providing an education, and the quality of the learning experience.

Animations, visualized real-life laboratory experiments, and over 12,000 videos on STEM subjects.

The Pegasus Innovation Lab (iLab) at UCF&#x27;s Center for Distributed Learning (CDL) and UCF Libraries have coordinated with JoVE to provide a series of online demonstrations. In the webinar, we will present an overview of the JoVE STEM video resources and the online learning faculty support services that come with UCF&#x27;s subscription to JoVE Science Education. Specifically, we will review JoVE&#x27;s video resources that can be integrated into UCF&#x27;s current and upcoming courses. In addition, we will review the following support services that are offered to UCF faculty and staff by JoVE at no cost:<ul><li>Playlists of JoVE video content mapped to faculty syllabus or the general curriculum</li><li>Dedicated support for integration of JoVE content into the university learning management system (LMS)</li></ul>&quot;JoVE is the world-leading producer of scientific video solutions for STEM education with over 1,000 subscribing institutions and a vast collection of over 12,000 videos. JoVE&#x27;s curriculum-focused STEM video content designed in collaboration with university faculty has been integrated into hundreds of lecture and lab courses across the globe. Our animations and visualized real-life laboratory experiments enable quick , in-depth comprehension of complex STEM subjects - thus increasing student engagement and learning outcomes.&quot;Each demonstration will last approximately one hour and will be held virtually through Zoom. Demonstration times: <ul><li>Monday, August 3: 11am-12pm</li><li>Wednesday, August 5: 11am-12pm</li><li>Friday, August 7: 1-2pm</li></ul>An email will be sent out 24-48 hours before the meeting with the Zoom link to join the demonstration.
