JOURNi Presents The Tech Circuit: HTML/CSS

JOURNi is an organization dedicated to equipping urban communities with the skills and resources necessary to jumpstart their local economies. We strive to build an authentically inclusive tech ecosystem in the city of Detroit, by tapping into the heart and spirit of its residents. To achieve this goal, we will provide immersive courses, youth-centered programming, beneficial employment opportunities, start up education, and socioeconomic resources.

Introducing JOURNi’s new virtual program comprised  of individual programs to meet Detroit youth where ever they are in their tech journey.

3 Virtual Modules are available- All you need is a laptop/computer and internet access!HTML/CSS&gt;Foundational languages of building a website. Grades 6-12FRIDAY &amp; SATURDAY for two weeks Meeting days are Friday&amp; Saturday June 6th &amp; 7thAND Friday&amp; Saturday June 12th &amp; 13thYou can also sign up for our other modules!<a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/105595595268" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Git/GitHub</a>&gt;Learn workflow tools used to collaborate and build portfolio. Grades 7-12*Git/GitHub prerequiste: HTML/CSS Module, prior JOURNi program or coding experience<a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/105596239194" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MicroBits</a>&gt;Program MicroBit hardware. Participants get to keep MicroBit at the end of the program. Ages 8-14
