Discover a creative process to hear what your heart has longed for and begin breathing new life into it.

Establishing Our Queendom June 11, 2022, 2-5 pm

How do we create “home” wherever we are?

How do we reign over our own lives that seem out of our control?

Explore ways to return to the seat of our throne and have our say.

Awakening Our Body Temple June 18, 2022, 2-5 pm

Instead of a temple does our body feel more like a broken-down shack?

Has your passion fallen by the wayside?

Come re-ignite the joy of being in our bodies and uncover new pleasures.

All supplies will be provided for each workshop including a light snack.

Yvonne Evans

Yannah (Yvonne Evans) is an artist who loves painting, drawing, collage, and any other creative outlets. As an educator and coach she connects people to their passions and desires in life. Yannah is an advocate for the mental health of black women and uses creativity as a tool for enhancing mental wellness. Her vision is to empower mature women of color to discover their creative passion that will fulfill their lives with joy and purpose.

Anasuya Isaacs

Anasuya Isaacs is a globetrotting teacher, spiritual counselor, writer and artist who combines her many gifts into healing experiences that shift grief, trauma and shame into medicine for overcoming and thriving. A few of the Beloveds that Anasuya has served are homeless youth, women leaving domestic violence, rape survivors and refugees fleeing terror at home. She is thrilled to be bringing her unique style of healing through love, faith and art to her SAGE sistahs.

Sistahs Aging with Grace & Elegance (SAGE) promotes affirming ways of being and thinking about aging for Black women.  Aging well means being active and in good health, being financially secure, living in safe and affordable housing and enjoying caring and supportive relationships. Our mission is to empower Black women with the strategies, tools, resources and supports to make choices and decisions that will enhance their quality of life throughout the aging and senior years. Our vision is to create a dynamic and connected network of Black women in their Fabulous 40s, Phenomenal 50’s, Sensual 60’s, Sensational 70’s, Elegant 80’s and beyond who are flourishing at every stage of their aging journey.
