    About Our Host

Roberto Suarez is a well-known happiness/breathwork facilitator, a Yoga/Tai Chi teacher and former athlete. He coaches professionals such as a starter for the 2020 NBA Champions, the lovely wife of a Florida Governor and a top Luxury Real Estate Agent in the USA.

I have spent more than 30 years chasing happiness, coaching and mentoring clients and exploring my own spirituality via various spiritual and transformational practices. My whole life was driven by the need to be the best at everything. My grandfather, Cappy, was considered one of the greatest coaches and athletes in Cuba before 1960 and my father, Roberto J was a wonderful success story in Miami. In high school I excelled with All City honors in three sports – football, basketball and baseball. I played football at Rutgers College despite being 5’7” and weighing in at only 135 pounds. Clearly, I loved to play sports, but I hated to lose.

Over the years, I had to lose everything to realize that it was ok to lose. In fact, losing is part of life. Through it, I became aware of who I am and that I did not need to compare myself to anyone else. I was not playing a Life Game that unlocked my full potential. In the 90’s I became aware that to be happy and free I had to give up being right, justifying and being in control. This opened me up to the possibility of returning to my homeland Cuba, in 2002, after 42 years of living in the USA. To date, I have introduced (with the help of OM Meditacion Cuba) more than 25000 Cubans to this practice of merging our breath with the divine energy within.
