Journal Jacket Weaving Workshop
Spend an afternoon learning the ancient arts of weaving. You will be surprised and full of joy with what you create. Take your journal home and start writing!
Here’s what you will learn:
- Weaving on the “rigid heddle” table top loom. If it’s your first time weaving, you’ll learn the most basic weave. If you have some experience, you’ll learn a technique called “clasped weft”. The loom will be warped, so you’ll jump right into weaving! The beautiful wool yarn is hand dyed with natural dyes.
- Class is 1- 5pm. We'll have time for a break. Feel free to bring your own snack and beverage, or you can visit Crafted's coffee bar, Peppers Cafe.
- 3 .5" x 5.5" notebook included
