On April 1st, Jose suffered a severe spinal cord injury while performing a routine move on the pommel horse, something he had successfully done countless times before. Jose was paralyzed from the top of his chest on down.

Through determination and prayer, Jose has made tremendous progress. There is hope for Jose. No one ever plans to have to remodel their home for handicapped accessibility or to pay for life-long medical expenses.
