What: Storytelling Open Mic
This is storytelling in the tradition of The Moth or Risk! where adults share true stories that happened to them in their own lives.
Where: Common Market Oakwold, 4420-A, Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28205. Plenty of free parking.
When: Saturday, January 27th 2024 7pm-9pm
Why: To bring people together, to enjoy the ancient, worldwide human tradition of swapping stories around a fire.
How: We invite you to put your name in the hat if you would like to. We will draw names from a hat. If you have chosen to pur your name in and if your name is drawn, we woould like for you to have come prepared with a 3-5 minute real life story that happened to you. This would be a true story about something that happened to you. Can be silly, fun, simple, beautiful, recent, or from a long time ago-just a true story with a beginning, middle and end.
Cost: Free but please patronize our venue partner!
