Plant A Seed is rallying the community for an event that truly matters. On May 11, 2024, we’re hosting a powerful 5K/Walk Against Human Trafficking, and we need you to be a part of this essential movement.

Why do this? At Plant A Seed, we believe in the power of collective action to drive positive change within our community. Human trafficking is an injustice that affects millions of lives worldwide, and we refuse to turn a blind eye to this issue. By organizing the "Race Against Human Trafficking," we aim to raise awareness, spark conversations, and mobilize individuals to take a stand against this heinous crime.Through this race, we're not just running; we're running with purpose. We're running to amplify the voices of survivors, to shine a light on the darkness of exploitation, and to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to destroying human trafficking in all its forms.

When you take part in this event, you’re not just walking or running; you’re extending a lifeline to survivors of human trafficking. Best of all this, a percentage of the proceeds will be devoted to Paso del Norte Center of Hope. “The Center,”protects victims of human trafficking and modern-day slavery and leads anti-trafficking efforts within the region through outreach, education, and victim centered services. The Center provides 24/7 crisis response services upon notification from law enforcement, care coordinators, medical providers, local shelters, child welfare, juvenile probation, community partners, and the victims themselves. In essence, they are beacons of hope for those who have endured unimaginable suffering.
