STAGE/HEAVEN - DAY
John is in the dark. He had been writing but is looking straight forward to see what's next. Suddenly a BRIGHT LIGHT shines over his face.

It is bright and the old temple is gone. This new temple is like a garden that surrounds Jesus' white throne. Jesus is standing in front of his throne holding the scroll. Adam, Eve, Daniel, Steven, Aquila, Priscilla, and Paul are standing around Jesus but facing the audience seats.

Jesus finally unrolls the scroll. He reads, “Behold I am making all things new.”

(The crowd erupts with praise and victory.)

Tears roll down John's cheeks. He writes.

Jesus extends his hand to the audience in a gesture of welcome. The whole audience stands to their feet and proceeds with excitement and victory to the stage.

The audience of martyrs sweeps passed John who is trying to catalogue all that he sees. He stands up to see better.

Jesus is hugging and welcoming all who come to him.

The stage is full of martyrs in white. Everyone is full of joy to be with Jesus.

John catches Jesus looking at him through the crowd of people, with a look that says, “This is what is to come. Isn't it good?”

Jesus walks toward the curtain pull and starts to close the curtain. None of the martyrs notice. They are all fixated on their joy. John gets one final look at the scene trying to take it in before the curtain closes.

Frequently asked questions

Will lunch be provided?

Yes, and we will have vegetarian options.

Is this a paid role?

No, this is a volunteer, background extra role.

Can I leave early?

We ask if you choose to join us on set that you commit to being there the whole time. This is mainly so that we can have consistency in our editing process. We don't want to see the group of people look different from one scene to the next.

Will I need to memorize any lines?

No. You will only be asked to sit in the seat and look pretty ;)
