John Slatin AccessU 2019

Knowbility, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Austin, Texas. Our mission is to create a more inclusive digital world for people of all abilities. Our award winning programs and services raise awareness of the need for digital equity and promote skills to meet that need. We help businesses, educational entities, government and nonprofit organizations to train staff, identify digital access barriers, implement effective accessibility strategies, and monitor long-term goals to reach millions of new users.Knowbility, Inc. was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in 1999. Our programs build on the success of the Accessibility Internet Rally (AIR) in 1998. Now an annual event, AIR is a web design contest focused on design that meets global accessibility standards. Teams of developers and designers receive training in accessible web design and then use their new skills to create websites for registered non-profit organizations.

AccessU is the only three-day, hands-on conference that provides tools that can immediately be put to use by designers, developers, project managers, administrators, and anyone who is responsible for online content and development. John Slatin AccessU teaches those skills in an interactive and communal environment where you will learn everything you need to know about integrating accessibility into your company.

<H2>Accessibility Accommodations</H2>
Knowbility is happy to arrange accessibility accommodations for conference attendees and instructors. Please email AccessU@knowbility.org by May 1, 2019, in order to submit your request for ASL interpreters, large-text course materials, Braille materials, or other accommodations.
If you will be accompanied by an authorized care provider, please provide his/her full name. There is no fee for Authorized Care Providers accompanying paid attendees; however, they will not be provided conference materials and must accompany the attendee at all sessions.

<H2>Shuttle Services</H2>
Knowbility will be arranging shuttle services for all attendees staying at the Holiday Inn Town Lake. Shuttles will be available in the morning before the conference and in the afternoon after the conference.
