JOHN PRATT is a prolific and thought-provoking songwriter. His music is insightful, powerful and meaningful. His career has spanned several decades beginning in the late ‘70’s as a lead singer in San Francisco’s live music scene. He then moved to Los Angeles and spent over 10 years fronting bands that featured his powerful vocals and sold out every major club in Southern California. John released three albums under the “Firefly” band name in Europe &amp; Asia and in 2013 released his critically acclaimed solo album “TURN THE PAGE”. John also maintains an illustrious career scoring and producing countless compositions for movies and major television networks including MTV, National Geographic, GXN, ESPN and more. He composed the music for film trailers such as The Aviator, Cold Mountain, The Alamo, and songs for some of the most successful Telefilms. Currently, John composes music for and sings on a number of CBS Shows including Entertainment tonight, Dr. Phil and Rachel Ray for Diamond Mine Productions and continues to write for his next solo album.
The inimitable GARY STOCKDALE will open the show. GARY STOCKDALE is a 2-time EMMY-nominated composer, who has composed music for television shows such as Sabrina, the Teenage Witch; To Tell the Truth; Comedy Central’s Last Laugh; Cowboy U; The Independent Spirit Awards; A Home for the Holidays (CBS), and 8 seasons of Showtime’s award-winning <A HREF="http://www.sho.com/site/ptbs/home.do" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Penn &amp; Teller: BULLSHIT!</A> Gary’s well-known theme for that show garnered him an EMMY nomination. He also wrote music for <A HREF="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Aristocrats_%28film%29" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">THE ARISTOCRATS</A>, by Penn Jillette and Paul Provenza.
