The Palms Playhouse is your oasis for folk, blues, bluegrass, alt. country, rock, Americana, jazz, funk, and more. For over 40 years, we have hosted national touring bands, regional stars, and just plain great music in a casual, intimate setting where you are never far from the stage. The bar serves beer, wine, sodas, coffee, tea, and snacks. John McCutcheon has been singing his songs of the nation's heritage for more than 35 years, at The Palms Playhouse and around the world. Above all, he's a righteously passionate and impishly playful everyman, deftly switching between instruments - including guitar, banjo, hammer dulcimer, fiddle, piano and autoharp.
McCutcheon's gifts as a songwriter, historian, musician and storyteller have won him such praise as "one of the best loved performing musicians in the country (Marshfield News-Herald)," "the most versatile and compelling performer this reviewer has ever seen (Pravda, Moscow, Russia)," and from Johnny Cash as "the most impressive instrumentalist I've ever heard."
Doors open at 6:30 PM. Music begins at 7:00 PM. There will be two 45-60 minute sets with a short intermission.

-Are children allowed? Yes, we are an all-ages venue. It's up to the parents to decide if the content is appropriate for their children.
-Are you ADA accessible? Yes, there is an elevator to the second floor, and the bathrooms are accessible. Please contact us ahead of time if you need seating accommodations.
-What's your refund policy? Please contact us before doors open; in most cases, we will be able to provide a refund of the ticket price (fees are non-refundable).
-Where can I park? Plan to arrive early to find the best parking; you should be able to find a space within four blocks of The Palms. You can either park on the street or in a nearby lot; all public parking in Winters is free.
