Our programs are intended to accomplish three objectives: (1) to inspire through concerts; (2) to gather for music making; and (3) to educate.

Inspire: Hearing a master artist perform can ignite the imagination and inspire the heart of a musician. NSTMS works to present, in concert, masters of traditional music.

Gather: Making music with others and performing before an audience are experiences that knit people together and develop musicianship. NSTMS provides opportunities for people to gather for music making in a friendly and supportive environment.

Educate: The opportunity to learn from another musician is an important ingredient for artistic growth. NSTMS is working with seasoned musicians and music educators in our community to provide this experience.
