Join us for An Evening With John Baumann at the Armadillo Ranch!

Experience singer-songwriter John Baumann at The Armadillo Ranch located at 10130 FM 1886. John Baumann has established himself as equal parts brilliant songwriter and captivating entertainer. He’s released several solo releases, while honing his songwriting skills and landing cuts with other artists - from Kenny Chesney to the Randy Rogers band, he is not short on innate talent and storytelling. He is also a member of the acclaimed group, The Panhandlers, along with Josh Abbott, William Clark Green and Cleto Cordero (of Flatland Cavalry). He is always writing, working on songs, and in the words of Cormac McCarthy - trying to “be one of the good guys; carrying the fire.”

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to bring my own chair?

No, we have a limited number of tickets for each show and provide chairs for every ticket sold, so if you buy a ticket, you will have a place to sit and no need to bring your own!

Are shows BYOB?

We have partnered with Parker County Brewing and they will be at our shows with 3 varieties of craft beer as well as red and white wine. Drinks will be available for purchase from the time the doors open until the concert is over. Must be 21+ to consume alcoholic beverages.

I see you have chairs and drinks, but what about food?

Each event will be different, but we will post which food vendor will be out here on our Facebook page as soon as it's confirmed. Food will be available from doors opening until the 8:30 or they sell out. Food vendors will be announced per show

Can I buy a table or reserve seats?

We currently do not have tables or seats for reserve. All seating is first come first serve! However, with limited number of tickets sold, there isn't a bad seat in the place! There will be some tables and chairs with the food so you can sit and enjoy before the show.

Is this event inside or outside?

Another excellent question! Our events are all inside! We have 5 HVAC units in the building so we have AC or Heat if we need it and if the weather is nice, we will have the rollup door open in the back. We also have actual restrooms available!

What about parking?

We have room for about 25 cars in our top lot and we have an overflow parking area down the hill from the venue. Parking attendants will guide you where to go and if you have to park down the hill, we have an attendant that will drive you to and from the venue.

I see there is an age restriction, why is that?

The Armadillo Ranch is a listening room vibe, which is typically not conducive to kids. If you are attending a show, we have spaces to mingle and hang out, but when you're in your seats please remember we are here to listen to these singer/songwriters play. (Think movie theater setting)

What is The Armadillo Ranch? Since we moved our print shop to the new location, it has been one of my dreams to have a small listening room for 50-75 people to enjoy an evening with great music by great musicians. I want both attendees and artists to feel at home and relaxed and have a great time. I want to show that hard work can turn into something amazing. I want people to see that not everything will be perfect, try as we might, and that's ok. And I want everyone at the end of the night to want to tell a friend about their experience and say, man, if you weren't there, you missed out; or I can't wait to play there again. I feel like music is the great communicator and connects with people like few other things on earth. That is the essence of the Armadillo Ranch. That is what I'm trying to create. I hope you'll join us on our journey!
