The National Centre for Reconciliation, Truth, and Justice invites you to the second in our 2024 Public Lecture

Series, which showcases our academic’s transformational research. In this upcoming event, Jesse Fleay, Research Associate at the National Centre and PhD Scholar, will present on his research on the Voice Referendum, Republicanism, and Reconciliation.

This lecture is part of a broader event on the Republic, which is being jointly organised by the National Centre for Reconciliation, Truth, and Justice, and the National Republic Convention.

This broader event will feature Matt Thistlethwaite MP, Assistant Minister for the Republic, and Professors Emma Lee and Andrew Gunstone from the National Centre.

This year, Jesse Fleay co-hosted Global Citizen on Narrm country with Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, Hon. Julia Gillard, and Michael Sheldrick. Jesse is an experienced Noongar writer and research specialist across major policy areas. Jesse was a signatory co-author to the Uluru Statement from the Heart in 2017, which was awarded the Sydney Peace Prize in 2021.
