A JERRY BASH EXCLUSIVE!
Introducing:
THE HAPHAZARD STRING BAND
The Grateful Dead have left a deep imprint on Northern California’s music community. Band members welcomed collaborators and spun off innumerable solo projects here. Joe Craven, as a long-running member of the Garcia-Grisman Project, spent years at the epicenter of Jerry Garcia’s acoustic-music output on recordings and live shows. Craven’s credits extend to virtually every A-list acoustic music performer today. Joe and current collaborators will be digging into the Garcia catalog polishing up and delivering what’s sure to be power set of favorites and hidden gems.
The Haphazard String Band includes:
JOE CRAVEN – fiddle, mandolin & percussion (David Grisman/Jerry Garcia)
SCOTT LEHE - guitar (Moody Cat)
PETER WILSON - guitar (The Deadbeats)
DANNY ROHOLT - bass
LOS NINOS MUERTOS (The Dead Girls)
Come out early, grab a good spot on the park lawn and enjoy Nevada County favorite Juliet Gobert as she leads this all female ensemble on an acoustic voyage through the songs of Robert Hunter & Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir & John Barlow and other beloved traditional songs in the Grateful Dead tradition. The Los Ninos Muertos are: Juliet Gobert (guitar, vocals), Kelly Garmire (guitar, vocals), Toni Valenta (lead guitar, vocals), Mary Curtin (bass, vocals) and Annete Taborn (harmonica, vocals)
