This show is produced in conjunction with the Federation of Asian Storytellers (FEAST) and showcases Feast Fest performers. World traveler and award-winning storyteller Jeff Gere curated these stories based on strict, top-secret criteria and the result is a show rich in international, traditional tales told from around the globe. Jeff will give his commentary on each story and explain why it is one of "Jeff's Picks." Click here to learn more about FEAST

Jeff's Picks is streamed on YouTube and the ticketing link allows for viewing anytime through July 31st. There are several ticket levels and your generosity will help support FEAST and its efforts to create more opportunities for tellers to perform, internationally and inter-culturally, by organizing festivals, performances, and teller exchanges and collaborations. Also, to offer learning opportunities that enable our members to hone and improve their skills, no matter their current skill level. Tickets range from $8.00 to $50.00 (or more if you are feeling generous!).

To encourage your support of these wonderful storytellers, we are offering a couple of incentives:

- the Fabulous Feast $50 ticket will also include a 25% discount off the cost of a 15 month FEAST membership (discounted to approx $30)

- the Generous Globe Trotter $25 ticket will also include a free ticket to one of SFAP's upcoming shows (a $15 value).

He’s performed at the National Storytelling Festival (2010, Residency 2013) and Spain, Hong Kong, Turkey, Vancouver & the Yukon before retiring from Oahu Parks Department to end 2014. Roger Jenkins is a Singaporean storyteller, who discovered storytelling almost 25 years ago after a career as a drama teacher/theatre practitioner. He founded Singapore's 398.2 Storytelling Festival (2015-present) and is a co-founding director of FEAST. He is also a supporter of access in the arts: he is an audio-describer making live theatre accessible for vision-impaired audiences, and his main tandem-telling partner is hearing-impaired.

Gauri Raje is a storyteller and anthropologist based in Scotland and India. She is fascinated by myths and their power to hold community memories and has been increasingly working with the ways in which stories allow migrants to create a relationship with the land they settle in.

Shereen Saif is an Indian-born, Dubai (U.A.E) based multi-disciplinary artist with a practice that spans theatre, dance, storytelling, voice acting and conceptual art.

The Ramtanu Trio (Rebecca Lemaire, Rajinder Deo, Ashish Sarwate), who met in the small Himalayan town of McLeod Ganj over 15 years ago, weave stories and music in this session about spiritual exploration and practice. They bring you legends and anecdotes about music and silence, inspiration and expression, movement and stillness, portraying their experiences in India learning music, yoga and meditation.

Prakrati Agrawal is a professional storyteller who loves to make people laugh and think at the same time. She has been an active FEAST member and uses her computer engineering knowledge whenever they are stuck! Right now, she is in Kitimat, a remote place in Canada searching for icy stories to add to her repertoire.
