Welcome to the JBLM Environmental Operations Management (EOM) Course! Join us for a hands-on learning experience that will equip you with the knowledge and resources you need to accomplish your assigned environmental compliance requirements. Topics covered in the course include: hazardous materials, hazardous waste , stormwater BMPs, Clean Air Act requirements, environmental inspection requirements, spill training and more.

This course meets FL200-1 environmental training requirements for Environmental Officers (EO), Hazardous Waste Technicians and/or Hazardous Materials Technicians. EO rank requirement is E6 or above , supervisory/lead position for civilians. This initial EOM course must be completed within 60 days of being appointed. The online EOM Refresher Course is required annually thereafter.

This course includes an outside exercise (rain or shine) - please plan accordingly with appropriate outerwear. There will be a one-hour lunch break. Please note that there is no kitchen/microwave/refrigerator or vending machine on-site. Restrooms available. Strongly suggest bringing your own water/beverages.

If possible, please bring your organization's Environmental Compliance Binder.
