Join us for a free night of jazz in the historic 18th & Vine Jazz District!
Kansas City PBS’ Jazz Jam at the Mutual Musicians’ Foundation will feature two sets of live music performed by a collaboration of artists from across the country.
The evening’s band will include musicians from The Briarwood Arts Center in Jackson, Miss., Mutual Musicians' Foundation in Kansas City, Mo, and Williamsburg Music Center in Brooklyn, NY. – regions that are representative of the genre’s birth, evolution and eventual international acclaim.
The performances will be filmed for an upcoming production of Kansas City PBS.
There will be two identical sessions; one at 7 p.m. and another at 9:30 p.m.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for the first session and at 9 p.m. for the second session.
This event is free, but registration is required. To ensure everyone has an opportunity to attend, we kindly ask guests to sign up for only one session.
Seating will be very limited. Walk-ins may be accepted as capacity allows.
