Bob and Carol Lenz open their home for you with great music and the chance to help Litchfield Jazz Camp support students with financial need to attend this summer's sessions at Canterbury School in New Milford, CT.
You arrive at 2 pm to a splendid reception at one of the loveliest estates in Litchfield County, followed by a showcase of talented jazz campers and jazz camp all-stars.  Next, host of CT Public Radio's Where We Live, John Dankosky, will auction a few amazing live items - including a trip for two to Napa Valley. Explore California's wine region and tour some of the most breathtaking vineyards. Then you will have the treat of hearing two young,extraordinary musicians, both finalists in the Thelonious Monk Competition, singer Veronica Swift and bassist Daryl Johns. Daryl's dad, the renowned drummer Steve Johns, longtime member of the Billy Taylor Trio, will sit in. Meet old friends, make new ones and have a wonderful afternoon.
