Do you feel like the buzzwords of non-monogamy (NM) can range from being super helpful, to entirely confusing when trying to communicate? Are you frustrated by the tone of moral superiority that surrounds certain words or concepts when they come up in community or online? You are certainly not alone!
Marla (NM therapist & educator) and Laura (NM relationship coach, author and educator) are here to share their ‘takes’ on some contentious NM buzzwords. They’ll discuss definitions, and provide strategies for communicating as clearly and effectively as possible in your relationships - even if it means still using some of that jargon.

- Polyamory VS non-monogamy (given that they are often used interchangeably)
- Hierarchy | non-hierarchy | egalitarian
- Ethical non-monogamy VS Consensual non-monogamy VS Non-monogamy
