JAMDOCS: Central Reform Congregation

The Jewish and Muslim Day of Community Service was developed in 2010 out of a partnership between the Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis and the Jewish Community Relations Council. The event takes place on Christmas to give recurring volunteers the opportunity to celebrate the holiday with their families, while also strengthening the relationship between the Jewish and Muslim communities. Now in its 7th year, the program has continued to grow year after year and we are excited and grateful to have you here with us!

Cards for hospitalized kids, Fresh Start bags, no-sew blankets

Central Reform Congregation

Volunteers at this historic St. Louis congregation will work side-by-side to create a series of items to benefit the St. Louis region, including no-sew blankets for Missouri Baptist Chemo Care bags and get-well cards for hospitalized children. 
We will also be assembling Fresh Start Bags containing household and toiletry items for clients of the Gateway180 homeless shelter, a project previously sponsored by Kol Rinah.
This is a family-friendly event. Advance registration is requested, though walk-in volunteers will also be accepted. Capacity: 200 volunteers.
