About this program
South Carolina food preservers of all experience levels are invited to join Clemson Extension Food Systems and Safety Agent Samantha Houston for a hands-on jam and jelly making workshop. Whether you’re new to canning or looking to refresh your skills, this class will guide you step-by-step through safe, research-based food preservation techniques using USDA-approved methods. Participants will make their own jelly during the workshop and take home a jar of their finished product.
Minimum Enrollment Requirement
This class will be held only if the minimum enrollment of five (5) paid registrants is met by June 2, 2026.
If the minimum enrollment is not met, the session may be rescheduled or canceled. In that case, all registered participants will be notified by June 2, 2026, and issued a full refund.
