Ivy Creek Guided Tree Walk

Join Tree Stewards Tom Wild and Monica Newby at Ivy Creek Nature Area where they will point out examples of the more common trees in this part of Virginia and some of the key elements used in their identification.

This is a moderate walk along shady and sunny woodland trails with both gentle and steep slopes that often contain roots and rocks. We will not be walking very fast.

Dress for comfort, wear hiking boots or sneakers, and bring water and food, if necessary. A small magnifying glass, or magnification phone app is a plus, but not necessary.
