Born and raised in the small Eastern European country known as Bulgaria, Ivan Nikolai's singing ability and love for music was discovered at a very young age by a team of musical professionals in his home town of Plovdiv.
Ivan was immediately enrolled into the well known Bulgarian choir of boys where he fell deeply in love with singing and performing with the choir. He was introduced to the rock group "Queen" by his parents at about 8 years of age and to this day Freddy Mercury (Queen's front man) is still Ivan's biggest inspiration as a vocalist. Ivan's other influences are, George Michael, Elton John, Journey, Bryan Adams, and Muse.
When migrating to America with his mother in 1989, Ivan continued his love for music in middle school choir and different rock bands as a drummer throughout his teenage years. Being the top 44, Season 4 of American Idol, Ivan's encounter with Simon Cowell helped him to find himself as an original artist and pushed him to create his own album called "All As One" dedicated to global spiritual unity among all races on earth. Ivan's main wish is to strive for bringing people together spiritually with unconditional love and empathy toward each other through his music.
