Stumptown Syndicate

The <A HREF="http://stumptownsyndicate.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Stumptown Syndicate</A> is screening two local films. First, Chris Higgins will present a 20-min rough cut of Access, a documentary that examines the accessibility of websites and apps today, and host a Q&A following. Our main feature is award-winning 2015 documentary Arresting Power: Resisting Police Violence in Portland, OR, which looks at the history of conflict between the Portland police and community members throughout the past 50 years. 
Snack-wise, we'll have popcorn, soda, and water on hand!
This event is part of <A HREF="http://resfestpdx.com" TARGET="_self" TITLE="ResFest" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ResFest</A> week, a week-long celebration from October 1-8 that highlights people and communities reimagining the landscape of the tech industry.

The mission of the Stumptown Syndicate is to bring tech & maker skills to communities in ways that enable positive social change. We host the annual Open Source Bridge conference, IgnitePortland, BarCamp Portland, and more.
