Description

Check out our online Conference Schedule!

The 2017 International Parents Conference & Embassy Walk harnesses the power of love and collective action to empower parents of children who are internationally abducted or wrongfully retained. Now in its fourth year, the Conference is the premiere annual gathering of parents and families of abducted children.

Parents engage with each other, members of Congress, federal agency officials, diplomats, NGOs and other key stakeholders to prevent and end Internatioanl Parental Child Abduction (IPCA) and to return children home to loving parents and communities.

New this year!

Travel and Accomodations

Conference organizers are also parents of internationally-abducted children. We know that this fight takes a toll on your finances and that every dollar counts. We work hard to seek sponsorship to keep conference registration costs low and to maximize your conference experience.

In the past few years, we've found that AirBNB is an economical way to minimize your travel and accomodations costs. More importantly, we found this shared expense leads to shared empathy and new friendships with people who know EXACTLY what you're going through.

When you purchase your conference tickets on Eventbrite, you will recieve an email from iStand to complete your registration, including:

  • Request to share an AirBNB in Washington
  • Confirmation of your luncheon preferences
  • Information on participating in the Embassy Walk
  • Requests for any special accomodations
