About this event

Join International Security Studies for a special colloquium event with Ted Bromund and Sandra Grossman: Fighting INTERPOL Abuse – How to Make a Career, and a Difference, by Understanding International Organizations.

INTERPOL is a widely misunderstood international organization, whose famous Red Notices are often abused by autocratic nations such as China, Russia, Turkey and Venezuela, as well as other member nations to harass political dissidents, journalists, and others. Dr. Bromund, widely known as the “go to guy” for all things INTERPOL and a former Associate Director of ISS, and DC-based attorney Sandra Grossman, who specializes in international human rights and immigration law and testified before U.S. Congress on INTERPOL abuse, will discuss INTERPOL exploitation and how they cooperate to challenge it in the U.S. and abroad.

This event is open to the Yale community; lunch will be provided. Reading materials will be sent to all who have registered.
