About this event

University of Miami President Julio Frenk recently returned from an intensive, wide-ranging educational trip to Israel, via American Jewish Committee (AJC)’s Project Interchange (PI) Program.

When it comes to understanding Israel, there is no substitute for first-hand experience. Interactions with representatives of Israel’s vibrant, multifaceted society and open dialogue with Israeli and Palestinian leaders is key to PI’s educational approach.

He will be joined by UM Dean of Students Ryan Holmes, who is also a PI Israel program alum. They will discuss their experiences with a UM undergraduate student who recently traveled to Israel via the Canes Perspectives program.
