Organized by

New York City is the birthplace of modern Theosophy, begun officially on November 17, 1875, by H. P. Blavatsky, William Q. Judge, and Colonel Henry S. Olcott. Theosophy Hall NYC is the home of The United Lodge of Theosophists, an association of students independently devoted to the cause of Theosophy, and unattached to any Theosophical organization. ULT Meetings are free and open to all without distinction of race, creed, gender, condition or organization. Weekly classes in The Secret Doctrine are offered plus other classes featuring original teachings of Theosophy recorded in the writings of H.P. Blavatsky and William Q. Judge. We are a lively exchange place where ancient Wisdom Teachings are studied in the context of a modern-day conversation. Students explore the fundamental concepts and core ideas in religion, science, and philosophy, then and now, and are encouraged to bring and ask questions. Our friendly dialogues are open to students young and old, new to Theosophy, just beginning, or returning for more. Please check the meetup schedule for free classes offered on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, Monday and Wednesday nights.
