The Future of Education in a Globally Interconnected World

In order for boards to govern effectively, they must be knowledgeable about the landscape in which independent schools operate - including the educational landscape. Many independent schools are engaging in conversations about the future of education, including the question of how best to prepare students for a complex, interconnected, and often volatile world. Researchers and educators are turning to new research around global competencies - the knowledge, skills, and dispositions students need to thrive and contribute as ethical global citizens.
