Is AI justly distributed? A presentation on current regulatory framework of AI in EU and examples of AI everyday use and users.

About this event

The leading with AI, was an idea ignited from the "leading with Artificial intelligence lab", sponsored by GIZ, led by Global leadership academy (GLAC) and ITCILO. The blog started in 2020.

The AI leadership academy is an initiative aiming to inspire articles from different topics. we want to spread the knowledge that enables different stakeholders from different sectors to play a role in leading sustainable development with AI.

Each session is no longer than 1 hour allowing the knowledge sharing as well as discussion.

In the thrive to achieve the goal, the founders, have invited Nishant Yadav to share his experience in the field of AI and Environment.

Topic Summary: Marijana Šarolić Robić will talk bout Is AI justly distributed?

A presentation on current regulatory framework of AI in EU and examples of AI everyday use and users e.g. average EU citizens as intro.

Dilemma on accessibility , transparency and skill set required to use such technologies. Additional remark on burden posed by such requirements to SMEs and start ups entering AI market in relation to consumer protection and their rights.

Speaker's Biography: Marijana Šarolić Robić is the President of PWMN Zagreb, and have been an Attorny of Law since 2004, she worked for the New Zealand Consul in Croatia, Partner and Attorney at law at Law company Bardek, Lisac, Mušec, Skoko, Šarolić Ltd in cooperation with CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz between 2007-2013.
