We are hiring throughout the IRS - start a career with purpose today!

During this virtual open house, we will be featuring positions within the Large Business and International (LB&I) Division. LB&I is responsible for tax administration activities for domestic and foreign businesses with a US tax reporting requirement and assets equal to or exceeding $10 million.

What is unique about LB&I? LB&I hires several distinctive mid-to-senior level career positions that work in collaboration with one another toward a common goal. LB&I Senior Executives will be discussing LB&I's importance to the IRS’ goal of funding America! Truly a career with purpose!

During the event, LB&I will be highlighting the following positions* in separate breakout rooms:

Appraisers - Analyze emerging valuation issues.

Data Scientists - Develop data product solutions to improve customer experiences, anomaly detection, and business outcomes.

Economists - Research and analyze complex microeconomic issues covering an extensive range of industries and fields of specializations.

Financial Analysts - Perform unique and precedent setting appraisals of businesses and business interests.

Engineers - Support the resolution of technical engineering and valuation issues.

Revenue Agents - Mid-career level GS-13 and Senior level GS-14 - Plan and conduct examinations of complex businesses and corporations within distinctive and highly specialized practice areas.

Tax Law Specialists - Assist examination teams in planning, directing, and coordinating the examination of international transfer-pricing issues.

You’ll decide which position interests you and choose the appropriate breakout room to hear more about that position in a more intimate environment. In these breakout rooms, you’ll learn about the day-to-day duties of the positions and the qualifications needed to be eligible. Afterward, there will be a Q&A session where you will be able to speak directly to LB&I employees working in these positions and the hiring managers who review potential candidates - all to gain a better understanding of the position and whether it is a good fit for you.

We will also be discussing the application process and we'll provide tips on writing an effective resume to highlight your experience and make yourself more competitive.
