About this event

Join us for a Midnight Release Party in celebration of Rebecca Yarros' highly-anticipated sequel, Iron Flame!

The party begins at 9:30 PM and ends once you receive your book! Festivities at your local BAM store include trivia, games, and giveaways! Once the clock strikes midnight, we will begin handing out copies of Iron Flame.

Here's what you need to know:

Voucher Information: To secure your copy of Iron Flame, you'll need a voucher. Reserving a spot on our Eventbrite page does not secure a voucher, but don't worry; it's easy to get one.

Purchase Vouchers: You may purchase your voucher(s) at any Books-A-Million location. You can purchase as many vouchers as the number of books you want to buy. Each voucher guarantees you a copy of Iron Flame at the Release Party.

Release Party Night: On the night of the Release Party, simply bring your voucher(s) with you to a participating store*. Present your voucher(s) at the event, and you'll receive your book(s) hassle-free.

Limited Stock: If you can't make it to purchase your voucher(s) in advance, don't worry. We will have a limited stock of books available at the event, but please note that these are available on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last.

*Below are the Books-A-Million locations that will be hosting an IRON FLAME Midnight Release Party. Please note that although you can purchase your voucher(s) at any BAM location, you will only be able to redeem your voucher(s) at one of the participating stores.

"The first year is when some of us lose our lives. The second year is when the rest of us lose our humanity." --Xaden Riorson

Everyone expected Violet Sorrengail to die during her first year at Basgiath War College--Violet included. But Threshing was only the first impossible test meant to weed out the weak-willed, the unworthy, and the unlucky.

Now the real training begins, and Violet's already wondering how she'll get through. It's not just that it's grueling and maliciously brutal, or even that it's designed to stretch the riders' capacity for pain beyond endurance. It's the new vice commandant, who's made it his personal mission to teach Violet exactly how powerless she is-unless she betrays the man she loves.

Although Violet's body might be weaker and frailer than everyone else's, she still has her wits--and a will of iron. And leadership is forgetting the most important lesson Basgiath has taught her: Dragon riders make their own rules.

But a determination to survive won't be enough this year.

Because Violet knows the real secret hidden for centuries at Basgiath War College--and nothing, not even dragon fire, may be enough to save them in the end.

The Empyrean series is best enjoyed in order.

Reading Order:
