The Startup Ladies third annual #InvestInWomenFounders 2024 Summit is a half day celebration and convening of founders, funders, and corporate executives with the goal of helping women founders secure investment to grow. We are so excited that the Delta Faucet Company is once again our title sponsor and will be hosting the event in their beautiful space on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from noon-6pm ET at their HQ in Indianapolis, Indiana.

We ditched the pitch!

Instead of pitches, we will pair each founder with a seasoned entrepreneur or senior executive from a major company. These proven entrepreneurs/execs will interview the founder (think Oprah style interview). Interviewers will ask questions allowing founders to cover the content in their decks. These conversations will be more personal, relaxed, and hopefully fun!

It will be the interviewer's job to champion the founder before, during, and after the event. Interviewers will spark conversation with the audience and ask attendees how they can help founders: secure investment, and connect to prospective investors, and clients.

Last year, $170 billion was invested in to US startups and women-owned startups received a whopping 2% of that funding. We can no longer expect women to build companies with less money than their male counterparts. Women CEOs need money to pay themselves, full-time staff, and outsourced professional services. —> The faster we move the money - the faster we create NEW jobs in our community!

Most of our Investor Members are a combination of professional folks and retirees who are NOT professional investors. They have the financial capacity to invest a minimum of $5,000/year. They want to support women founders. They are comfortable investing in ideas, research, and the very early stage of startups so women founders can grow their companies.
