About this event

  • 1 hour

Having a stable place to call home is essential for thriving in all aspects of life, including at work, in school, raising children, eating well, managing health, and staying connected to community. Last year, nearly 100,000 neighbors reached out to our 211 helpline for housing assistance. We’re taking bold action in response to this need — investing deeply in immediate solutions, while advocating for systems change to prevent homelessness.

Join Greater Twin Cities United Way CEO John Wilgers and our moderator, Mala Thao, vice president of individual giving, for a conversation with Jay Wagner, senior program officer of holistic grantmaking.

You’ll learn how Donor Infused Funds (DIFs) provide an opportunity to partner with Greater Twin Cities United Way in driving housing justice — along with a number of other programs and initiatives — today, tomorrow and in years to come. Join us for our seventh Family Philanthropy Series learning session: Investing in Community While Addressing Housing Needs to learn more about how you can get involved.
