About this event

  • 2 hours

After the Civil War, Dayton turned from a place were things were made into a place where things were invented. By the turn of the century, Ohio was generating inventions and nowhere more than Dayton. By 1900 Dayton ranked first ( relative to population) in the creation of new patents. The following tour takes you through Woodland Cemetery and to the gravesites of those inventors who rest peacefully at Woodland Cemetery.
