Join us for a hands-on volunteer opportunity at the Pismo Preserve! This monthly volunteer day aims to protect the natural beauty of the Pismo Preserve while fostering community involvement and environmental stewardship.
Date & Time: Second Wednesday of each month at 9:00 AM
Location: Pismo Preserve
What to Expect:
- Learn to identify invasive plant species.
- Receive training on the best practices for effective removal.
- Work alongside our knowledgeable staff who will guide you through the process.
- Enjoy the scenic beauty of Pismo Preserve while contributing to its conservation.
What to Bring:
- Comfortable outdoor clothing and sturdy closed-toe shoes.
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses).
- Water bottle.
- Gloves, if you have them.
- Enthusiasm for conservation and a willingness to get your hands dirty!
