Intuitive Painting Workshop @ Perinton Park

This workshop is part of the On the Canals program, presented free of charge by Stony Point Art Studio, the NYS Canal Corporation and the NY Power Authority.

Welcome to the Intuitive Painting Workshop! Join us for a fun and creative session where you can let your imagination run wild on canvas. No experience is necessary, all abilities are welcome. Just bring your enthusiasm and an open mind! Reasonable accomodations are made for all participants. !

Our workshop will take place at Perinton Park in the area adjacent tothe park shelter and the canal path.

Our workshop begins with a meditation to create space in our minds and hearts for creativitiy amidst the lovely area of Perinton aside the Erie Canal

**The gazebo has accessible parking, entry and bathroom facilities

Our painting begins with colors and textures applied in acrylic paints to canvas. Each student will be prompted throughout the workshop to add various elements including, color, line, stencil, stamping and more. There is no need for prior experience in the visual arts, we simply journey together to create individual pieces, representing who and where we are. Maintaining individuality and self-expression, artists paintings evolve naturally with the support of the instructor . The results are a beautiful, personal and original pieces of art to be taken home at the completion of the workshop
