Two day in-person training in the Collaborative Process


THE COLLABORATIVE DIVORCE PROCESS IS AN OUT-OF-COURT DIVORCE OPTION, WHERE A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS, UTILIZING INTEREST-BASED NEGOTIATION, ASSISTS WITH SETTLING ALL DIVORCE ISSUES.

This is a 2 day in-person training for family law attorneys, mental health professionals, financial professionals and other divorce professionals which will provide new professionals with the foundations of the Collaborative Divorce Process and will provide a refresher for seasoned Collaborative Practitioners.


Learn the basic step-by-step process of Collaborative Divorce from consultation to completion, using video demonstrations and interactive sessions from local practitioners for practical application.


Topics Include: Establishing A Team The Roles of Collaborative Attorneys, Mental Health Neutral Facilitators, Financial Neutrals and Other Neutrals, Like Child Specialists, Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Brokers and Appraisers Setting Goals Interest Based Negotiations Mitigating Common Challenges Getting Cases


This training is meant to satisfy the introductory minimum standards with 14 hours of CE credits for attorneys and mental health professionals.


2 Day Training, Lunch Included: $500.00; Early Bird Price (by April 1, 2026): $425.00. Fees waived for Judiciary. Connie Byrd Memorial Scholarships offered for law students.
