Following quality control, alignment of sequence reads to a reference genome is one of the first steps of sequence data analysis. This session will provide details and recommendations on tools and techniques for sequence read alignment and visualization of the aligned reads against a reference genome.

Users are encouraged to bring laptops to this session.
